Nokia were releasing their much anticipated Meego software on the Nokia N9 - the first buttonless mobile operating system, with the menu accessed and navigated through a series of swipes and gestures.
With a super-sharp touch-screen and a new user interface, the Nokia N9 demanded special creative work to show it off. An ideal oppotunity to do something a little different.
The N9 puts hands-on interaction at the heart of its design and user interface. I produced video concept that brought the tactile nature of the product to life by linking it with everyday gestures.
We decided to push the brand a little to make the work really stand out. Shot over four days across multiple locations with a variety of cast on 16mm film, the final video creates a tangible world you could reach out and touch – just like the phone itself.
